I want to become a member of the Academy but face a financial barrier - what can I do?
The Ivors Academy Membership Bursary Scheme covers the cost of an annual membership of The Ivors Academy.
If you require information in the first instance, please contact the Membership team who can assist – membership@ivorsacademy.com

Can you clarify what you mean by commercial release?
For a work to be eligible by commercial release, we expect the recording to be available to the general public to buy from more than one selected major UK digital download retailers and/or to stream from more than one selected streaming services. As such, it is mandatory to supply the recording's catalogue number, as per our rules.

For the avoidance of doubt, the list of eligible digital download retailers is: 7digital, Amazon Music, iTunes. The list of eligible streaming services is: Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify, YouTube Music.

What happens if I submit my works and someone else (ie publisher, manager etc) does too, unknown to me?
As per our rules there is a limit of three works by any one composer that can be entered in any one year. A work can only be submitted into one category, and not multiple catgories.
If there are more than three works submitted by the same composer, the awards team will make contact to ask which three works should be considered for judging.

There aren’t enough fields in the entry form for me to upload all my files- what do I do?
Please contact the Awards team as soon as possible so that we can assist with this – awards@ivorsacademy.com
